Hello
We thought you might be interested in our new blog and our new business. Universal Placebos is designed to be a place where you can actually *buy* placebos - small, inert sugar pills - and also as a regularly updated information source about the celebrated ‘placebo effect’. Conventional medicine acknowledges the existence of the placebo effect, but there is very little research on how it actually works …

At the same time light-hearted and absolutely serious, Universal Placebos offers information and interactions based on the widely acknowledged existence of the Placebo Effect, the extraordinary fact that the administration of a neutral substance or harmless procedure often produces benefit.
With warmest best wishes

Great blog — please add blog at http://www.waittimes.blogspot.com to you’re list. A blog about trying to minimize the wait times in health care by better practice management. Thanks

You are doing really good. Get Going
Great article, when i was going through my certification and training to get my license I found some great information from the nursing journals on this site. Hope it helps and keep the great articles coming.
I am writing in defence of all the nurses at LIVERPOOL HOSPITAL N.S.W. We found in every department they were always doing the best they could for their patients.
Always bright & cheery & most of all very, very , busy.
Most of them work 10 to 12 hr shifts. We need more nurses & better pay , & more new machines that do a lot of things a lot quicker than the old type.
There must be a lot of staff that suffers burn out as it is a long time to stay fully focased on each & every patient with different needs & drug doses, also to deal with rude & horrible demanding people.
They were all good to my husband who was out of it for 3 days after epileptic fits . We all should be thankfull for our dedicated nurses & Doctors & help them as much as we can
Thank you Ann & Robert.
